The Comb Out

Curly Girls!!!!!! Beware of combing out your hair!!!!! It is the truth when you read articles that tell you your hair is in a fragile state when wet. But, I am a firm believer in combing out your hair with a wide tooth comb when you're in the wet/conditioning step of your hair cleansing routine!!! Why? because when curly hair is dry, the curls are formed and set. Trying to comb it out will damage the hair because you would be forcibly breaking up the curls. ESPECIALLY if your curls are really tight! So curly girls, purchase your wide tooth shower comb and leave it handy for shower use only! Another thing, for the curly girls that wet their hair everyday (which is what I do) I find that combing out your hair everyday leaves you with more frizzies than luscious curls. I do a full comb out every third day. When I we on a non-comb out day i run my fingers through when wet and just squeeze excess water out.... try it out!!!!
