A Little Peeved....

You know, there are some things in the world that really piss me off. One of them being when girls run around with atrocious weaves. JEEZ!!! The whole freaking point of a weave is for it to look like your hair AND look good. Why the hell are there people walking outside with nappy, crusty, dried out bird's nests on their heads? It's not cute and never will be!!!! If the weave looks ATROCIOUS,take it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's better you have short hair that looks decent than a long ratty racoon tail. Dammit.

The Ultimate Leave In Conditioner

"Goin' Natural" is all the craze now...I mean I did it too! lol Its a tough first year, especially if you cut everything off to start fresh. BUT...yes there is a HUGE "BUT". It doesn't have to be THAT hard if you have the right leave in conditioner to tease out some natural curls that look cute and is a great treatment for your hair while you're growing out your tresses. I found this product, called Shea Butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream made by CANTU. Its sold in a screw top tub with an orange lid. This is hair ambrosia people. It's VERY affordable, only 5.99 and is sold at Rite Aide, Target, even the beauty supply store around the way! And it's DAMN good. It conditions the hair while offering a good hold. BUT, it DOES NOT make the hair CRISPY which is heaven sent. I HATE crispy curls. I like movement, not stiff curls that cant even blow around in a stiff breeze. So go out and get it girls! Guys out there with long hair you can jump on the bandwagon too! Also, all you gel fiends out there this product is the perfect replacement. USE it. Seriously. Gels have a lot of alcohols in them and dry the hair out. That is not good no matter what kind of hair you have. CANTU leave in is thick, creamy and rich. I'm selling it really hard right?! lol But I wouldn't lie to the reader's. I live for this stuff. Seriously, try it. I'll post a pic of the tub.

In The Beginning

This is the beginning...I LOVE hair. Strangely enough I have never thought to put my work out there, but a little birdie named dawnikins urged me to show the world, or at least those people that click in lol, my love of doing hair.
